Thanksgiving Break (So Far…)

Hello Friends,

I don’t usually apologize for my absences, but I feel I gotta this time. I am sorry for not writing in a long while, I have been busy helping to organize the 2019 Winterfest celebration at the girls’ school. We have mentioned it in previous years, but I am in it this year. Scheduled for Friday, December 6th, through Sunday, December 8th, 2019, you can check out the flier for the details here:

I feel like this is another example of the closed economy of our (my) energy. But I can’t delve into it right now. I just finished a round of emails, and there is a bunch of stuff to organize and create leading into next week. Instead, I will leave you with a bunch of photos of the girls and I playing around in Millennium Park. With a full week off for Thanksgiving Break we had to throw in some adventures.

And yes, that’s gelato on a November day (they ate their lunches well!). We’ll see you out there, friends!

Come Winter, Come Winterfest!

Hello Friends,

Did you miss us? I’ve missed you all. We have been super busy since October. I have so much to post about, and so little time. Why so busy, you ask? Well, it’s time for the St. Viator Winterfest once again!

Starting at 5:00 PM this Friday, November 30th, Winterfest goes through the weekend until 4:00 PM on Sunday. With a skate rink, Mistletoe Market, Tree and Wreath sale, hot cocoa, and more, the fest happens in and around the St. Viator Recreation Center. There is holiday fun all over, and plenty of opportunities for fun winter photos!

I know some of you already have weekend plans (Happy Birthday B!), but for the rest of you, come on by and check out Winterfest! Need more details? Here’s the Facebook event page with the details: www.facebook.com/events/341301753285197/.

I will be at Winterfest on Friday and Sunday for sure. The girls will be in and around as the weather permits. If you happen to see me, say hello – I’ll buy you a cup of hot cocoa!

Hope to see you there!
